My Dear Miss Irene,
I have just returned from Bridgewater, and hasten to express my heart felt sympathy in the sudden bereavement
which you and your loved ones have just passed and are now passing through. Your brother's death was indeed sad,
and touch-(pg 2) ed a sympathetic cord in many a friend's breast. May the God of all comfort and grace be very near to
you all in this hour.
Tell you mother that Mrs. Rust of Bridgewater extends her "love and sympathy."
Very sincerely,
T. D. Johnston
