Dearest Mrs. Tate,
With deepest sorrow I learned of the passing away of one so dear to you. Only the day
after the death of your beloved, one dear to our household was taken, the little grand
daughter of my cousin with whom I live. So I've seen the real bitterness of a ..?.. and mother's
grief. But knowing how near you live to your Saviour I'm fully persuaded that He will give
you grace to bear this mighty burden.
With sympathizing love to all of you, I am ever fondly,
					Dora Allen Tate
